Let’s give it up for your new Timon and Pumbaa. The boys didn’t slack off.
Billy Eichner in Paul Smith
This is a weird thing to say about a big man in a suit, but this all looks lovely. It’s a beautiful color and we love the subtle print and the choice of a pink tie. It’s all very stylish with an extremely subtle push-pull of a masculine shape covered in traditionally feminine style elements. And the fit is perfect. Quibbles: we should be seeing shirt cuffs and while the pink is nice, the slim with and shiny finish don’t work well with the rest of it. A thicker tie with a full windsor knot in a matte pink would finish this off in a more modern way and coordinate better with the collar.
Seth Rogen in Prada
In some ways, this could not have been more perfect for him. In other ways, we feel like the plain black suit is missing the point of a shirt like that. If you’re going to commit to the wide print and wide collar, go all in on a leisure suit and really work the look you were meant to. We’re serious. He might want to take a page from Donald Glover’s stylebook and really lean into a pure ’70s look.
