Mrs. Cathy! Look at you, upping your royal drag game! We just got finished saying you’d settled into a narrow yet sturdily reliable sort of regal style and then you turn around with a big ol’ Carrie Bradshaw-sized flower in your hair and make fools of us!
There is tulle. There is sheer. There is even lace and Swiss dot to go with the aforementioned big ol’ flower. We don’t want to overstate things, since this is still a deeply traditional sort of look and she’s not exactly shocking anyone with her bold and outrageous style, but it’s fussier and more … full of personality, we guess we’d say – than most of her public drag. It’s actually a little – Dare we say it? – fun. It’s nice to see she can still surprise people. More of this please, Duchess.
