And we have to say, it’s pretty refreshing to come across a celebrity couple where the guy is not only more stylish, but more likely to wear the focus-pulling look. Which isn’t to suggest that Lili looks terrible here, although the design of that dress has some issues. The straps are way too fussy and the seaming in the bodice is distracting and mildly unflattering since it works so hard to obscure her natural waist. And we just don’t like the color all that much.

He, on the other hand, looks fantastic. The fit seems to be a little off in the jacket. We get that it’s supposed to have a somewhat slouchy silhouette, but it’s too long on him. The shirt and boots are spectacular enough to make up for it. Besides, we suspect he prefers his clothes a little large on him. It’s a fairly standard styling technique for teen idol-style boystars. It renders them cuddly, boyish and non-threatening automatically.

Ooooh, girl! We are SO not the demographic for this one! We’ll keep our crotchety opinions to ourselves this time.
