Opinions were a little divided on Miss Olivia’s gown for the main event and we have to admit, the more we look at it, the more we appreciate it for being unique and well-suited to her. With that in mind, we figure we’d throw this one out to a vote:
Okay, yes; it’s wrinkled. That’s what satin does and since this is an after-party and she’s just been through a whirlwind of emotions and activities, we’re willing to ignore that part. It’s the design that interests us because…well, it’s interesting. She’s a gal who clearly prefers coverage and we like it when a woman with such preferences gets to wear truly interesting and expressive designs. Like her earlier gown, this feels and looks like it was made to her exact preferences. Yes, it’s very conservative, but it’s crossed with an Old School Hollywood feel. An understated one, to be sure, but this looks like something a starlet of the 1940s might have worn to the Oscars. We’re surprised how well she’s working the Champagne color without looking washed out and we’re impressed by the fit, which is impeccable. That’s us, though. And you?
