Did we call this one or what?
To be fair (and honest), we only partially called it. We said she’d be breaking out the metallics and primary colors because that’s what a super-gal does when she’s got a super-flick opening. Call it the Gadot Maneuver. We were wrong, however, when we opined that she’d be likely to stick to the non-fussy styles she normally prefers. This is bold, takes up space, makes a point and definitely requires a little fuss and work on her part, to our pleasant surprise. This was a time to be dramatic and on-point and the Captain, she nailed it. It’s a gorgeous look – and it carves out a blue/gold color scheme that’s more Captain Marvel than Wonder Woman, which is exactly the right way to go. Well done.
