Posted on December 10, 2014

First up: Cathy offers New Yorkers a little bit of coat porn, Brit-style.

Lovely. The shade of pink looks beautiful on her.

Look at that prince, getting his suit soaked so his little Duchess can stay dry. The Carlyle is going to have that umbrella dipped in gold and displayed in the lobby.

Next up, Cathy dressed up like a beatnik and hit downtown:

It’s plain in that Cathy way, but we love the little turtleneck and the fact that she dressed it up with some jewelry.

And finally, gownery:

Could that turn and wave be any smoother? They probably practice in front of a mirror together. “Aaaaand turn. No, darling. Put your hand a little lower, like this. We’re not hailing a cab, now are we?”

The gown is gorgeous and unfussy. Love the layers of blue and black giving it a subtle depth and sense of texture. For all the talk about her bump, she’s clearly not showing as much as people thought. Not that we care about such things. We never quite got the whole Bump Watch thing. Then again, we have penises.

And now, having fulfilled our lifelong vow to use the term “penis” while writing about the royal family, we bid you all good day.
