Actually, scratch that. We’re annoyed. This is such a massive stereotype of how a children’s book author is supposed to dress that it actually irritates us with its lack of imagination. We have the strongest suspicion that she showed up to this event speaking in a bad English accent.

You made your name swimming in your underwear and wearing elf ears, hon. This Nanny McPhee shit just isn’t gonna fly with us.
