We’re surprised how little this is working for us. We would have though that Kate Hudson in a purple beaded Armani pantsuit would at least provide some interest, but she’s failing at the whole “working it” thing. It’s just okay. We think we’d like it a lot more if she paired that jacket with something else. That pains us, because those pants are pretty damn fabulous. Maybe if she got rid of that “free with purchase” bag and that horrible scarf-brooch thing (and got her hair did, of course), this would all come together. Except it’s not so much that it needs items edited out as it needs some oomph added. This appears to be the limit to Kate’s oomph-giving skills, which means it’s time to dole out the harsh truth. Girl, That’s Not Your Suit. Miss Rihanna is patiently waiting in the wings for you to hand it over to her. Let’s do this quietly and without any fuss, mkay?
