Helena Bonham Carter and Natalie Dormer at Best of Britain’s Creative Industries Event

Check these two out, bringing their A Game! Then again, we suppose they’d have been ripped to shreds if they showed up at 10 Downing Street with yoga hair and shitty dresses.

Loving every bit of this look for her. It’s got an updated Alexis Carrington vibe that suits her very well and makes us want to cast her in a Dynasty remake. We think on another gal, this might look a little severe and aging, but something about her attitude (not to mention whatever’s going on with her hair), is giving it just the right edge. And it’s kind of nice to see a practical, yet kickass bag toted by a celeb.

Next up, Princess Smirky:

How breezy and fabulous is THAT? We think this may be the best non-red carpet look she’s ever worn. Certainly MILES away from that horror she wore to Wimbledon. Love the bag, although the blue doesn’t quite go with the blue of her outfit. And those are the best white pumps we’ve seen all summer. Also? And we’re totally going to sound like silly Americans here, but we don’t care: the umbrella just comes off so London chic. Yes, of course it’s simply practical (and looks like a cheap plastic one), but you never see American celebrities dressed up and heading into, say, an event at the White House carrying their own umbrellas.
