IN or OUT: Leslie Mann in Zuhair Murad at the “Mr. Peabody and Sherman”

Posted on March 07, 2014

As you might imagine (if you had any sort of soul or possessed the gift of empathy) we are, as they say, strung the fuck out on discussing red carpetry as this, our busiest week in red carpetry closes. Being a couple of going-on 18 years, we are, of course, at the bickering stage of things. Being attention whores of even longer standing, we’re dragging you into it, like bad parents.

Consider:

Let us first stipulate that both T & Lo think she looks good here, for the most part. It’s a perfectly appropriate choice for an event like this, where you’re not going to want to come across grandiose. But T did not want to feature this look at all today because he found it boring and not worth discussing. “It’s just a LBAWD,” he whined, making up an acronym for “Little Black And White Dress” on the spot; an acronym that no one, anywhere, will ever adopt and use. “It’s bold!” exclaimed Lorenzo, who is wont to exclaim. “It’s graphic! It fits her great! It’s INTERESTING, DAMMIT!”

“It is not.”

Bitter Kittens make the call:

IN! Love it! She looks head-turning!

OUT! Enh. I’m yawning and snoring. I’m snawning.

Having lost the Oscar to Lupita, poor Jennifer Lawrence had the added indignity of having to wait ALL WEEK to find out what the Bitter Kittens thought of her somewhat basic Oscars dress. Rest easy, Jen. They voted it IN.
