Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2011 Collection/Model: Patricia van der Vliet
HE: Ugh. We can’t. With the buttoned-up shirt and the neck beard, we just can’t see anything else. Score: 2/10.
SHE: Looks like she showed up to her wedding only to realize at the last second that her groom is a douchey dweeb. Still, for a white lace confection, it’s got a bit of an edge to it. It’s kind of a shame she paired it with those shoes. We were vacillating on the dress, but those silly putty pumps just kill the look for us. But we have to admit, we’re probably being a bit hard on her since she’s been nailing it on the red carpet all over the globe lately. Our expectations of her are perhaps a bit too high. It’s not our favorite look in the world, but at the end of the day, she’s a pretty girl in a slightly interesting…we were gonna type, “dress,” but that’s a top and a skirt, isn’t it? Anyway, compared to him, she looks incredible. Score: 7/10.
Combined Score: 4.5/10. To be fair, he was underdressed, but she was overdressed, considering it’s a press conference. You two kids go back to your hotel rooms, get some rest, and try again tomorrow, mkay?
