You certainly can’t call it generic. We’re gonna go ahead and call it “almost chic” instead. No, really. The problem with an outfit like this is knowing when to stop. Either the balloon pants or the coat, but not both. The coat with a pair of skinny pants works as does the pants without the coat. We’d have accepted either option. We also probably would have just put her in a men’s tie instead of that floppy nightmare, but we admit that’s probably a bit of a cliche.
