Elizabeth Olsen in The Row at Comic-Con 2014: “The Avengers” Panel

We’ve never been more reluctant to inform a starlet that her dress is simply too tight and she needed to go up a size.

For this is an Olsen sister, whose family crest bears the motto “There’s no such thing as a dress too large” in latin. Like her creepy older sisters, Elizabeth has a tendency to bury herself in oversized demure outfits that tend to age her up considerably. While we’re intrigued by this sudden turn toward sexy, and prone to praising her for knowing that a roomful of Marvel comics fanboys is the perfect time to break out a too-tight dress, we have a fairly strict rule when it comes to leather dresses: If we can see your belly button through it, it’s too damn tight.
