Well, well, well. It looks like Oscar nominee Kate Hudson is taking a very stripped-bare approach to her campaigning style. The Song Sung Blue star stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live in a look carefully devised to make it look like she threw it on.
It doesn’t even look like a garment. It looks like a pinned swatch of satin. Of course there’s nothing wrong a plain LBD and there’s even less wrong with a restrained approach to Oscar campaigning, but we’ve got to be honest, this is giving “I know I’m not winning it” loud and clear. She definitely could have used some jewelry. She’s not really a laquered ‘do kind of gal, but the rocker chick hair doesn’t work with the style of dress.
