We should really keep our critical caps firmly in place and harrumph our way through this fashion review but we may as well be honest, these two make us happy. There’s little in the realm of red carpetry we love more than newcomers who hit the ground running with strong, bold style statements.
Yes, her look is a LOT. So stipulated. It’s editorial in tone and a bit too closely adhering to the runway look for our tastes. If she asked our advice, we’d tell her to interpret things a little more going forward. Having said that, we honestly kind of love the look just for being so unlike the normal red carpet fare. Bottom line: if our main complaint about a red carpet look is that it’s too editorial or too different from the norm, then we have to consider it a success on some level. It helps that she’s gorgeous and can probably work anything thrown at her.
Speaking of which, he’s hot and his outfit’s hot. We have no complaints. Except for maybe they head-to-toe Gucci thing, which makes it all feel a little sponsored.
