Masters of the Universe stars Camila Mendes and Nicholas Galitzine continue their smart ploy of selling this film like it was a prestige Oscar drama. After a particularly stylish LA premiere, the co-stars kept their streak going in London.

It’s the only way to sell this silly cartoon short of showing up dressed like the characters. To be fair, neither of them are reinventing the wheel with their style choices, but that’s also smart, to our way of thinking. You could sell this by showing up in insane couture looks like it was Wicked or something, but we think it’s better to just maintain a professional sort of glamour that positions its leads as movie stars.
Camila Mendes in Anna October

This is a classic ’30s style screen siren gown (something we’ve been seeing more and more of lately) and it looks great on her. The necklace is gorgeous but it really doesn’t play well with a halter.
Nicholas Galitzine in Saint Laurent

This all appears to be in order. He just needs to shoot his cuffs and button his jacket. It’s not an exciting look, but it works well with her minimalist gown.
