Ready or Not Here I Come stars Kathryn Newton and Sarah Michelle Gellar continue to promote the hell out of the film while the rest of the cast apparently can’t be bothered. We thank them for their service but we’re still gonna be mean about their dresses.

We can’t quite parse what’s going on here. Is that a sheer dress over a white bodysuit? Why not just line the whole thing? Since it’s all white on white, you can barely see the rosettes and we’re getting a migraine trying to figure out if those lines are actually words. There’s no payoff for all of this effort. It’s just kind of bland and unphotogenic.
Kathryn Newton in The New Arrivals

She’s really in her monochromatic era, going by this and the all-orange outfit she wore to the London screening. This works a little better, but we don’t think red tights were the way to go. That flounce at the bottom isn’t working for us either, and the bust is painfully tight on her.

Neither of these frocks were worth the effort, we’re afraid.
ABOUT THE MOVIE:
