It’s Royal Friday apparently, as we check in on our third aristocrat of the day. We assessed a duchess and a princess, so it only makes sense that we move onto the queen. Queen Max headed to Utrecht as part of the observation of Circular Economy Week, which is about highlighting practical solutions to foster sustainability and drive economic growth, She got all springtime for the occasion.
Can’t argue with those colors. We can, however, take issue with her accessorizing, as we tend to do. A headband or scarf makes a smart solution to the problems she encounters whenever she wears her hair for day events, but we’re afraid this one simply doesn’t go with the style of suit she’s wearing. It’s too… whimsical somehow. It’s a cute idea, but it belongs with a different outfit. We’re shocked that she’s not wearing matchy pink or purple pumps. We’re glad she didn’t, but we don’t think these coordinate well with the purple.
