Eiza González stopped by Late Night to chat about her new film Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice. She kept her look exceedingly simple but hard to argue with.

It’s a simple LBD but it’s hard to argue that she looks bad in it. We don’t like the design of the bustline or the flounces hanging from the shoulders. The combination gives the illusion of sagging or drooping where there is none. Her hair looks gorgeous. Now for the super-nitpicky point of discussion. We’ve never felt that painted toenails were required in any situation, but there’s an overwhelming trend for clean toes paired with those slides (at least this one has an ankle strap) and the effect looks so… poolside to us; very Dr. Scholl’s, we guess. Like we said, no one’s required to slap color on their toes, but there’s something about that combo of shoe and pedi that always looks too casual with, for instance, a dress like this. The solution, we think, is to stop sporting those slides. Or at the very least, pick one with a little sparkle and color.
