Do we detect some stepping-up of game? The cast of Bridgerton have always been among the more stylish on television. You can’t embody an iconic romance story with a fanatical fanbase and not be expected to turn out a look now and then. But we’re pleasantly surprised by just how great some of the looks were that Yerin Ha, Luke Thompson and Hannah Dodd wore to the Madrid photo call and Bridgerton masquerade ball.

They look really cute together! We’re afraid we don’t have much in the way of notes or complaints.

If you’d asked us ahead of time, we’d have likely said that wearing an ascot with a pair of jeans is hopelessly pretentious for anyone who isn’t a British rock star circa 1967, but damn, if this isn’t all working for him. It helps that the coat is nice and he’s got a gorgeous blazer on. We still don’t think dress shoes ever look right with jeans, however. A snazzy pair of boots would have been our suggestion.

This is cute and feels very Y2K to us. Our only quibble is with the cargo pockets. We’re not thrilled with the black pumps but they make the most sense here.

We’re not sure what she’s got on under there, but we suppose it doesn’t really matter. It’s a cute and sexy look, although we have trouble seeing how the jacket coordinates with the girlier pieces.

We love a well-coordinated cast, don’t we, folks?

He looks spectacular and he looks like he knows it. It’s a gorgeously photogenic look and we very much appreciate the impeccable grooming and fresh-from-the-box shoes.

That’s like Exhibit A in “How to promote your romance story.” She’s practically dressed as a Valentine. It’s gorgeous and she looks amazing.

This is pretty and darkly romantic. The sheer is perhaps too heavy in the skirt, since it’s hard to see the sparkle underneath. We would have suggested a pair of silver sandals here.
