In this week’s podcast, we opted to get a little political on your asses. The times demand it, unfortunately. We went all-in on discussing the current administrations war on diversity and it’s latest disgusting tactic, the removal of the rainbow flag at the Stonewall National Monument in New York. We explain why it matters and more importantly, why allies need to step up now.
After that necessary unpleasantness, it’s a dive into a bunch of new shows. First one on the docket, Reality Check: Inside America’s Next Top Model on Netflix. We rant at all the ways the people involved in the show refuse to take any responsibility for its massive shortcomings, but in the end, there’s one simple and powerful reason why we think you should watch it.
Then, it’s a quick check in on Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette, which surprised us in a lot of ways, and a deep dive into the latest A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms and all the ways it broke our hearts in an incredibly well-constructed episode of television.
As always, thank you for listening, darlings!
