Even though we hate bows on dresses, we kind of dig this for her. The businesslike black pump is a disappointment, however.
Ginnifer Goodwin in Giorgio Armani
Credit where it’s due: she’s not doing much with it, but it’s a genuinely interesting dress.
Hannah Einbinder in Louis Vuitton
We haven’t enjoyed her style turn toward conformity. This is goofy and she does much better in sharper, more modern styles.
Jackie Tohn in Khoon Hooi
We hate that style of strap and the color looks bad on her.
Jessica Biel in Lanvin
It’s a shame. There are some genuinely interesting and pretty design elements here, but there are so many of them mashed together, that the sum of them looks ugly and overwrought.
Ji-young Yoo
It’s pretty, if a little puckery. The cat ear bust isn’t quite working.
Katherine LaNasa in Louis Vuitton
A lot of great skirts with goofily overdesigned bodices in this crowd, it would seem. Love the color for her.
Keri Russell in Tom Ford
Chic and simple. The brooch makes the look.

We give her credit for wearing something genuinely interesting that doesn’t look like any other outfit on that red carpet, but a knit dress just doesn’t look formal enough for an occasion where tuxes and gowns are worn.
Patricia Arquette
The dress isn’t bad, even if it’s very boob-centric. We think it calls for some sort of jacket or wrap, but we don’t like how this one looks with it. She also needs a wider belt.
Renate Reinsve in The Row
Very chic and minimalist in a way that suits her perfectly. No, she does not need a pendant, or anything else.
Sarah Snook in Akris
It’s fine. The jewelry and the shoes pull it together nicely.
Skye P. Marshall
The skirt has nothing to do with the bodice and those cups look dumb.
Wunmi Mosaku in Gap Studio by Zac Posen
The color looks fantastic on her and we love the drama of the ombre. We feel like she needed a hairstyle with more volume here.
