We’re all big fans of One Battle After Another star Teyana Taylor’s bold red carpet style around these parts, right? After all, we chose one of her looks as one of our favorites of 2025 and we even admitted that it wasn’t all that great a look. Her style has always been about brash high impact and the commitment it takes to serve an absolute drop-dead killer outfit. But we wonder if her choice for the Critics Choice Awards might be too much for the kittens to handle.
You either love this or you hate this and you settled on which one it was within seconds of taking it in. It’s that kind of look. We could dissect it, but we don’t know that there’s a point. Either the thigh-high boots work with the suit or they don’t. Either the big fuzzy thing on her shoulder adds something exciting to the look or it just looks dumb. The great thing about her style is that there’s nothing mid or half-assed about it. You have to form an opinion on it. So let’s hear it:
