Max gets sunny for the UN. Queen Maxima is visiting Indonesia as the United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development and made a stop at the Reimagining Industries to Support Euqality (RISE) factory in Solo. This is not the normal frivolous royal appearance, but that didn’t stop your girl from keeping the look fun.
And by “fun,” we mean bright, bold, and a little messy, as is her way. She has a real love of colors (marigold, chartreuse) that don’t love her back, although we think this shade could work for her if she hadn’t slathered herself in it from head to toe. The neckline on that blouse is an abomination and the matchy accessories look silly with it. But the scarf’s a nice touch, when it’s worn like a scarf. We don’t know why she opted to suddenly turn it into a belt, but it only makes the look sloppier and tends to indicate how poorly planned some of her ensembles tend to be.
