Bitches that we are, we admit to a certain amount of glee in hearing the news that Ryan Murphy is getting positively trashed by the critics over his latest paper doll drama, All’s Fair. That tacky queen has had this reckoning coming for some time now and it appears that the stunt casting of one Kim Kardashian has set many critics’ teeth on edge. Not that we’re clapping hands over her fellow actresses getting bad reviews, but most of what we’ve read seems to start from the assumption that everyone in the cast (except for Kim) deserved better. Sarah Paulson has been getting the best reviews, but that’s no surprise, since she’s been working with Murphy the longest and knows exactly how to approach his work. For her visit to Andy Cohen’s clubhouse, she wore the classic “I don’t read the reviews” sort of look: armored up and serious as shit.
Lots of coats and jackets thinking they’re dresses lately, Sometimes it works, sometimes the wearer looks like they escaped a hotel fire in the middle of the night. Sarah can handle hard-edged fashion, so this looks effortless on her. We get the somewhat severe styling, which mostly works with this, but we don’t love that hairstyle for her.
