It’s been nothing but rundowns ’round these parts lately, so we’ll jump at any chance to give a look the spotlight treatment and put it up to a vote. Unfortunately, the dress Taylour Paige wore the premiere of It: Welcome to Derry pretty much disqualified itself immediately.

Over the many years of writing this blog, we’ve softened our stances on some things and broadened them a little on others. Fashion changes quickly and we’ve been doing this long enough to watch the much slower changes in the culture take place so we’ve learned to change with it. What we’re trying to say here is that we tend to be less critical of babyhead busts and we also have no problem with any lady who wants to free the nip. But when your babyhead bust is so egregiously tight that your nip isn’t so much freed as escaping, you need to ditch it or send it to a seamstress to let it out. Look, wardrobe malfunctions happen. There’s no crime or scandal in an inadvertent nip slip, but this was completely avoidable. Even without the slippage, that just does not look good on her. As for the design, we like it except for the black part. It would be more elegant if the gray check went to the floor.
