It’s a rare trick to devise a look that feels totally perfect for Lady Gaga while also ensuring that she could walk down the street in New York wearing it and not be immediately recognized. Granted, she’s always been a bit of a chameleon, but the outfit she wore to stop by Stephen Colbert’s place for a visit almost allowed her to enter incognito.
Almost. We figure the boots will always be a dead giveaway, but aside from them and the gloves, the rest of the outfit looks like something a chic (albeit dark and a little gothy) New Yorker might wear. Love the vest. The rather conventional little pocketbook looks kind of silly with the rest of it.
