WEDNESDAY Star Jenna Ortega in Markgong at the Netflix Tudum 2025: The Live Event

Never let it be said that Jenna Ortega is not a team player. The Wednesday star came to Netflix’s promotional Tudum event (named after the Netflix sound effect because absolutely everything is branding these days) to talk up the new season with Lady Gaga and, in order to secure the maximum amount of attention, to serve a killer look. A lot of stars in the Netflix stable of talent came to this event, but none of them came to it serving a look as hard as this one.

We appreciate and applaud her never-ending commitment to being stunning. Do we think this is perfect? Is it entirely to our tastes? No and no. It’s clearly too tight on her and we don’t think you can do ombre leather and not have it come off a little tacky. Putting aside the tight fit and those straining buttons, she’s poorly served by the styling. Dangling that belt does nothing good for the outfit and those clownish white slingbacks come close to ruining it. But the hair and makeup look great and despite our sniffing and quibbling, it’s a killer look. Also a tacky, poorly fitted look, to be sure, but still a killer look.
