The History of Sound star Paul Mescal flew solo for the Cannes Film Festival photo call and premiere (meaning his co-star Josh O’Connor wasn’t there) and got himself all Gucci’d up for both occasions.
IN GUCCI AT THE PHOTO CALL
Looks pretty good to us. Of course we’d like it better with a belt and we will always maintain that flared pants require a shoe with a large silhouette in order to avoid the appearance of doll feet, but neither of these somewhat annoying trends are dealbreakers here. The overall look is strong, and given how lackadaisically some male stars tend to treat photo calls, we can’t get too nitpicky about a look as well turned out as this.
IN GUCCI AT THE PREMIERE
We can’t say we’re a hundred percent in love with the floppy tie, but again, the overall look is so well-presented that we can’t get huffy about it. The real blasphemy here is that we can’t stand his hair and we always want him to run a comb through it. Yes, we know, girl. We just never developed that “run your fingers through your guy’s hair” impulse.
