Heidi Klum read the new Cannes Film Festival red carpet rules about dressing more modestly and not wearing elaborate gowns that dominate the red carpet and said “Fuck you, make me.”
Granted, as trains and skirt slits go, neither of these strike us as problematic, although we suspect a lot of models and international stars are going to see how far they can bend the rules in the days to come. As for this gown, we don’t hate it, but it does look a bit too craftsy to our eyes. We have such a bias against fabric flowers in fashion that we don’t entirely trust ourselves to assess this one with the kind of care and consideration you’ve come to expect from us. You be the bitches this time.
