Drop star Meghann Fahy stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live in a suit that manages to be both tricky and too bland at the same time. Does that mean we split the difference and call it good? Kind of!

Alright, let’s break this down: first, we’d probably advise most white people from wearing an off-white suit on a talk show, especially if they don’t plan on accessorizing too heavily or providing any pops of color. Second, while the construction of that jacket is genuinely kind of interesting, we think it’s also trying to do too much. The way the bottom portion is split to make a set of tails is actually kind of cool, although you can barely see it once she sits down. What you can see is that annoying collar/lapel situation, which we hate. Despite all of these complaints, however, it feels like a breath of fresh air to see a star not overthinking their talk show outfit. Lately, it’s been awfully complicated out there.

ABOUT THE MOVIE:
Emmy nominee Meghann Fahy, breakout star of White Lotus and The Perfect Couple, plays Violet, a widowed mother on her first date in years, who arrives at an upscale restaurant where she is relieved that her date, Henry (It Ends with Us’ Brandon Sklenar) is more charming and handsome than she expected. But their chemistry begins to curdle as Violet begins being irritated and then terrorized by a series of anonymous drops to her phone.
She is instructed to tell nobody and follow instructions or the hooded figure she sees on her home security cameras will kill Violet’s young son and babysitting sister. Violet must do exactly as directed or everyone she loves will die. Her unseen tormentor’s final directive? Kill Henry.
