Look, we’ll be honest with you: we’re well aware that we can get into cycles where we’re saying the same thing over and over again, making the same observations and critiques ad nauseam. We wish it were otherwise and we try to keep things a little spicy and unexpected as much as we can. The thing is, when you’re writing about celebrities and fashion, you are, by definition, writing about trends and popularity. And celebrities, by their very natures, tend to be some of the hardest core trend followers you’ll find on the planet. So with all of that in mind, please forgive us when we say that Abbott Elementary star Quinta Brunson should’ve saved the dress she wore on Jimmy Kimmel Live for a photo call or red carpet. It’s not for sitting. Yes, we’ve said that a LOT lately. The trend in nighttime talk show style is to dress in more grandiose designs, but some outfits just aren’t right for sitting down in front of an audience.

She’s a pair of boobs and a pair of shoes. It looks pretty nice on her when she’s walking out, but it renders her entire mid-section almost invisible and it just doesn’t look all that flattering when she sits. The Betty Boop hair is adorable, though.
