No intro here because we’re feeling some kind of way about The Assessment star Elizabeth Olsen’s Chanel getup for her Drew Barrymore appearance and we need you to feel it too.
That’s a little weird, right? A tweed pantsuit with short sleeves and capri-length pants? It just feels like the whole look has more elements to it than it needs. The style suits her, but it’s really skirting up to the dowdy line. The short sleeves and pants give the impression that she’s outgrown the outfit. Ultimately, we think we’d have much less of a problem with this look if it weren’t rendered in tweed and she didn’t have those kind of sketchy looking slingbacks. Alternately, we wonder if these pieces should be broken up. The top has some possibilities to it, but it’s really the whole idea of tweed capri pants that’s unworkable.
