Among our most common complaints regarding celebrity guys in suits is that they tend to default to looks that feel a little too businesslike for performers doing promotional work. It turns out, if you put Disclosure Day star Eve Hewson in a standard white dress shirt and necktie, that critique evaporates. Granted, it helps that she didn’t exactly style those pieces in an office-appropriate manner.
We actually like this. While we think it comes off sloppier than it needs to, and we’ll always consider a crop top a poor choice for a talk show, there’s a fetishy edge to this that suits her really well. The skirt is gorgeous. We think the look would have worked just fine with the shirt tucked into it. We’d have rec’d either a black patent leather tie or a bold red one.
