Jessica Chastain came to the Berlin International Film Festival to do two things: premiere her film Dreams and also show you the many sides of Jessica Chastain. First, there’s Day Jessica:

It’s sharp, it’s clean, it’s practical and unfussy. And because of the bold color, it takes a pretty great picture. The pants feel like a too-plain, too-safe choice, but they’re not a dealbreaker. It’s profesh and glamorous at the same time. Speaking of glamour, say hello to Night Jessica:

She has a long history of working these spectacular Gucci va-va-voom-style dresses, but this one just isn’t working all that well. The color looks dingy and the blocking, with those vertical panels, makes what should be a never-fail style just look awkward on her. The sleeves/shrug thing just looks a mess to us. Girl, they let you down on this one.
