Emily Blunt swung by the Red Sea Film Festival to pick up an award and to model some cute, slightly offbeat looks. Cute and slightly offbeat are her style sweet spots, so this is good news for everyone.
At In Conversation with Emily Blunt Event
This is eye-catching and unexpected. We’re not going to claim that we love the pants, but we do think they make sense in tandem with the top. We’re impressed by how fresh and unfussed she appears to be. That textile looks like it would wrinkle if you gave it a stern look. We don’t think the shoes quite work. Maybe a silver loafer was called for here.
At the Opening Ceremony
Glam and very sexy. You don’t see sheer tights with high-slit gowns all that much, but it’s a drop-dead hot look. We don’t mind the black panel, but we hate the bows. As we noted before, we think Champagne and glitter will be the go-tos for the next bit of awards season. Like most awards season trends, it’ll likely peter out quickly once everyone’s had a crack at it.
