Wicked star Jonathan Bailey is definitely in his white pants-and-ruby slippers era, which hasn’t exactly filled us with glee because his last few ensembles while promoting the film looked kind of awkward to us and failed to play to his strengths. We tend to think his latest getup while visiting Seth Meyers is a bit more of the same.
We wouldn’t say it’s a bad look exactly, but it just doesn’t feel like it suits him all that well or does much for him on camera. Admittedly, we softened our critique a little when we saw the video of him walking out. This is more of a stand-and-pose look than a sitdown one. Even so, that shirt is boring and generic. A print could’ve saved the whole look.
