Style File: Anna Kendrick Promotes WOMAN OF THE HOUR in New York

Woman of the Hour actress/director Anna Kendrick continues to hit the streets in a new, discussable look every day and while we can’t say we’re loving every single choice, we appreciate that she’s infusing her promo wardrobe with real style and personality. In a possible tip of the hat to the film’s period, a lot of her styles have a vaguely ’70s feel to them without tipping into cosplay.

She’s very much a matchy-match kind of gal. Personally, we think this outfit could’ve benefitted a little from a contrasting color somewhere, but it’s all photogenic and suits her well.

The vest is a little snug, but that’s the only note we have. This looks great on her.

We’ve never really loved silver and yellow as a combo, and we tend to think this looks a little dated, but we can’t really get mad at any of it. Our dislike of the color combo aside, we don’t think this is the best shade for her. A richer marigold shade would suit her better.
