We’re not entirely sure what Skincare star Elizabeth Banks was going for when she put together her outfit for the New York screening.

It’s not terrible, just a little weirdly unbalanced. We’re not so sure that you can just throw a black menswear jacket over any dress and call it good. It’s technically one of those classic styles that’s workable for a wide range of wearers, but it feels too sedate and serious with a dress made entirely of silver sequins and paillettes. She ditched the jacket later for an appearance on The Tonight Show, but it still looked a little odd with the black sheer tights and black pumps. It’s just not the kind of dress you can tone down without forcing the question of why you didn’t just pick a more toned-down style for yourself. In other words, if you’re going for the silver sequined frock, you’ve got to fully embrace the style.

However, she begins to sense that someone is trying to sabotage her business and destroy her life after she becomes entangled in a series of menacing situations. Consumed with paranoia, Hope goes on an investigation across Hollywood to find out who is responsible and save her business- by any means necessary.
