Moana 2 stars Auli’i Cravalho and Dwayne Johnson got super-floral for their D23 presentation.
As we may have mentioned a time or two before, Lorenzo does all of the formatting and research for a post before handing it off to Tom to fill it with silly words. He will occasionally leave notes in the post draft and sometimes, the notes themselves simply don’t need to be rewritten:
“She’s wearing a Polynesian designer/brand, He’s wearing Dolce & Gabbana.”
And there you have it! They both look fantastic, and despite those two Italian queens being super-problematic, there’s no real issue with Johnson wearing the brand. It would be weird of us to single out people of color for wearing a problematic brand when it tends to be the favored house for all of celebritydom. Still, it was great of her to highlight a Polynesian designer at this moment.
