It pleases us to report that no one slacked off for the occasion.

Just look at those beautiful heeled boots. We consider them our personal contribution to the culture. Kudos should be offered as well to the hem job on those pants. He’s finally dressing like a grownup. That Oscar win looks good on him. Would we have recommended a sheer dress shirt for him? No, but then again, we wouldn’t recommend those glasses either.

She’s pulling off a design that’s pretty awkward. We can’t say she’s making us love it, but she’s making it work for her. Wisely, the styling doesn’t try to fight the design.

This is borderline hospitality uniform, largely because of the color story, but we’re going to be honest here: we’re rooting for the return of the leisure suit. There’s nothing wrong with the style that some good tailoring and fine textiles can’t fix. He looks cute, but we’d have rather a matching pair of pants and more interesting shoes.
