And now, boys on a rooftop. The gentlemen of Road House pretended to enjoy themselves on a London roof in advance of the film’s premiere.
We figure you’re so sick of looking at ladies in gowns that you’d see a bunch of ruffians in a range of style choices as a refresher of sorts.
Lukas Gage in Hermès
Extremely low effort. Photo calls are not fashion calls and this is definitely not the kind of film that begs for dandyism in its promotion, although it wouldn’t necessarily be unwelcome (see below). Even so, you can throw together something marginally more photogenic than this.
Conor McGregor
His posing skills are HILARIOUSLY awful, but kudos to him for putting together a good look; one that evidently excited him tremendously.
Jake Gyllenhaal in Magliano
Maybe we’re half-crazed post-awards season, but do you know we don’t actually mind (most of) this? Wearing the wasitband of another pair of pants as a belt is incredibly stupid. The clogs are actually pretty nice, but they don’t go with the rest of the look. We like the coat, but the color story here is aggressively drab.
Billy Magnussen in John Varvatos
It’s fine. Can’t see anything wrong with any of it. We like that heeled boots are becoming a thing again.
ABOUT THE MOVIE:
In this adrenaline-fueled reimagining of the 80s cult classic, ex-UFC fighter Dalton (Jake Gyllenhaal) takes a job as a bouncer at a Florida Keys roadhouse, only to discover that this paradise is not all it seems. ROAD HOUSE is open for business March 21 on @primevideo.
