This really seems to be the day for London premiere, hunh? Things were fairly low-key (even for Billie Piper) at the Scoop premiere, but the Renegade Nell premiere gave us a chance to expound upon the wackiness of the average British premiere red carpet. We should’ve just saved our typing fingers the work and simply showed you a picture of Lucy Boynton at the London premiere of her new film The Greatest Hits:

This sort of fairy princess vibe is very much her thing. It is very much less so our thing, but we do think she’s well-suited to these glittery-pale styles with the super-twee details. We could list our quibbles, but we’re afraid once we get started we won’t stop. Our top three, then: the snakes feel like an incongruity in an attempt to add some edginess, the ruffled clamshell bust is too fussy for words, and those irregular hanging strips make us want to grab a pair of scissors.
