Sydney Sweeney’s very busy year (“She’s this year’s Zendaya,” was said during our morning editorial meeting) continues as she promotes her little sexy nun movie. The star of Immaculate (and Madame Web and Anyone But You) stopped by The View studios in her version of a nun’s habit.

She’s been wearing a lot of black and white looks on this promo tour, but it’s been subtle enough that it never feels like she’s theme dressing. It’s smart branding without lapsing into cosplay. As for this look, we’re afraid we simply can’t sign off on it. The skirt hits way too low and the neckline sits too high on her. It should be noted that she’s wearing the dress backwards, although we don’t think it makes much difference either way. It would be awkwardly proportioned no matter which side the keyhole cutout was on. Given the ongoing cultural mania surrounding her boobs, maybe she felt like keeping them under wrap.
