A whole truckload of stars came out for the Time 100 Next Gala and to our pleasant surprise, most of them were on their best style behavior. Not all of them, however.

Becky G in Amiri

Absolutely gorgeous. The pattern is subtle, the color really sings on her, and the styling is impeccable. No notes.

Damson Idris in Ferragamo

Flawless. Love the bracelet.

Jack Quaid in Todd Snyder

We can tell it’s a fantastic suit, but without his personality selling the hell out of it, it would have looked pretty dull. Love the shoes.

Jonathan Bailey

Very disappointing. Bland, forgettable, and poorly styled. You have let your people down, sir.

Lainey Wilson

The top is fun, but we can’t support black satin pants.

Manny Jacinto

The color looks amazing on him, but we really wish he’d sported a contrasting shirt. Love the brooch.

Meghann Fahy in Chloé

Girl, please. You look silly.

Miles Caton

Love the boots. The suit has a stark sort of chicness to it, and the jewelry choices are helping to elevate it, but what it really needs is richer-looking buttons, like in a pewter or bronze.

Monica Barbaro in Armani Privé,

Fabulous. No notes.

Nomzamo Mbatha

We want to like it, because she looks fantastic in white, but that bust is wildly overdesigned. The beading needs to go, along with at least half of the cutouts.

Tate McRae in Valentino

It’s an interesting design, but we don’t like how it looks down at the bottom, where the “cage” effect ends. We also don’t think that old pantyhose color does a thing for her. This would be better in black.

Teyana Taylor in Tom Ford

Well, we’re finally going to say the words. Teyana, that’s too much. No one is more impressed by this lady’s ability to werk the unwerkable, and we salute her efforts to make sure everyone can see just how slamming her body is, but this is just way too “look at my bits.”

LOVE. The fit is a little on the snug side with the vest, but we love the colors and we are immensely grateful to see suiting with a little contrast. Ties, dress shirts and suits work best when they’re all in different color or shades.
