Natasha Lyonne, Maya Rudolph and Stephanie Hsu dressed in circus clothes for the premiere of their new cartoon, The Second Best Hospital in the Galaxy, which seems kind of appropriate.
But – surprise! – they’re all wearing high-end designers. No, really.
Natasha Lyonne in Rodarte
We don’t actually have any complaints or criticisms for this lot. It’s not so much that we love every look as it is each look is well-suited to the person wearing it and on point for the kind of promotional work they’re doing. This green looks amazing on her. The Barbie boots don’t work with it. The neckline is a little unwieldy.
Maya Rudolph in Schiaparelli
We like this, but we’re not sure why you’d go the House of Schiaparelli and choose such sporty-casual pieces. We realize the necklace and toe shoes are what give it that Schiaparelli feel, but the top and the skirt sure doesn’t. We don’t dislike the pieces, but we think they’re aggressively bland without the styling choices.
Stephanie Hsu in Bode
The top is pretty cute, but we really hate those pants.
ABOUT THE TV SERIES:
– THE SECOND BEST HOSPITAL IN THE GALAXY follows Dr. Sleech and Dr. Klak—aliens, best friends, and intergalactically renowned surgeons—as they tackle anxiety-eating parasites, illegal time loops, and deep-space STIs. In Season One, doctors Sleech and Klak take on a highly dangerous and potentially groundbreaking case and, in doing so, put existence itself in jeopardy. Although considering their dismal personal lives, oblivion might be an improvement.
– Cirocco Dunlap also serves as showrunner, writer, and executive producer along with EPs Maya Rudolph, Danielle Renfrew Behrens and Natasha Lyonne for Animal Pictures. Shauna McGarry. Shannon Prynoski, Chris Prynoski, Antonio Canobbio, and Ben Kalina from Titmouse will executive produce. Artist and animator Robin Eisenberg will co-produce and serve as production designer.
– The series stars Stephanie Hsu, Keke Palmer, Kieran Culkin, Sam Smith, Maya Rudolph, and Natasha Lyonne.
