Kittens, by the close of blogging business today, we will have covered the Golden Globes, the AFI Awards, the Governors Awards, the Nation Board of Review Awards, the Critics Choice Awards and the Emmys in the space of one week. We trust you need no further explanation as to why we’re taking a short break and turning this one over to y’all.
We were never going to put Suki Waterhouse’s dress up to a vote because we were pretty sure it would invite almost universal dislike, but this strikes us as the second most controversial dress at the Emmys because everyone seemed to have an opinion on it. Yes, it looks a little like a Post-It note, and no, we wouldn’t want to be seated to her right either. But it’s unforgettable and it absolutely sums up her own sharp-edged persona. It’s a dress that says “I’m not a hugger,” which strikes us just about perfect for Aubrey Plaza. But like we said, this one’s over to you:
