They’re quickly becoming our favorite co-stars of awards season. Not to over-praise him for being supportive of a co-star, but we still want to give Leo credit for literally standing by Lily every step of the way, every chance he can during this entire campaign. She seemed giddily amused by it in her recent New York Times profile: “It’s insane. It’s like I’m trotting this mythical creature around, out and about, and he’s doing so of his own volition.”

This is a gorgeously unexpected choice for the occasion. It might have come off heavy, witchy or funereal, but it has a richness to it that really suits her. That’s about the strongest case yet that the brooch is making a comeback. It could be overwhelming for some, but she can handle it fine without looking overwhelmed. The earrings are gorgeous, but unfortunately, you really have to look for them.

He’s stepping up for her, but he continues to do the bare minimum, style-wise. It’s fine. It’s boring. He needs to shave his neck.
