Because we love her dress. In fact, it took us a day to realize it, but this is our favorite frock of the night. It’s got a gorgeous luxuriousness to it, without being grandiose in any way. There’s not a sequin a sparkle or a feather in sight, but it still delivers pure glamour. It feels classic, but far from simple, and the longer you take it in, the more you realize how unconventional the design actually is. That knot at the back may not have been the most comfortable of elements to carry around all night, but it really makes the design. The retro-clean styling is perfectly on point. Just a great look for her that really announces her arrival as a prestige actress.
