At the Hollywood premiere of Ballerina, Ana de Armas wore another pretty but boring gown and did the absolute bare minimum of styling.

You’ll pry those crystal-embellished custom Louis Vuitton gowns from this ballerina’s cold, dead hands. As much as we’d like to make a bigger issue out of her boring and extremely narrow style preferences, we’re once again stuck because it’s hard to claim she looks bad. At least she goes for a little pattern, color and texture in her choices. Someone like Angelina Jolie tends to rest on pretty by picking the most generically neutral pieces she can find, but Ana, while she doesn’t have much range, at least has an eye for low-key glamour and visual interest. As for this one, we don’t actually like that color, but we’re glad she’s actually working a color.
